It’s Valentine’s Day and I pondered over this question: how much do parents love their children? I’m sure the answer for most would be “as deep as the ocean”. Ask them what do they aspire their children to be? And the answers could range from down-to-earth guy next door to the sky’s the limit. I believe that while we hope our children could change the world, ethical children are the ones who runs the mundane but essential life in the world.
Found this great article on how to help our children become better characters by Adam Grant, youngest tenured professor at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and author of the New York Times bestseller.
Grant asked if our children were Harry Potter, how would they make decisions in this world?
