Happy Chinese New Year

February 2013

Dear Clarice

Gong xi gong xi. It’s your 4th Chinese New Year celebrations on earth. You have blossomed into such a sweet young thing that you look pretty in any CNY costumes you wore. You were especially stunning in the CNY cheong sum, especially with your poses.

We have a pretty busy time this round, as we have visits to both grandmas’ house, mummy’s friends, and the River Hongbao at the floating platform.

I think the playground at the River Hongbao is probably your favourite part of CNY as you went wild riding up and down the slides, the merry-go-round and the pandas. You were more interested in these than the magnitude of your ang pow collection. Well, I guess you still have a whole life ahead of you to appreciate the value of ang pows.  Enjoy the simpler joys till then.
