To mark your birthday and heightened awareness of Mother Nature, Daddy decided to take leave and bring you to the zoo. Are you ready for the adventure?
What a hot day it was at the Singapore Zoological Gardens, rated one of the best zoos in the world. Daddy bought the most expensive ticket package which gives us the entry pass and a ride on the shuttle bus and the river boat ride.
Your knowledge of the animal kingdom have expanded tremendously since our last visit, thanks too to your abilty to utter words and string sentences together now. You could name the tigers, giraffes, chimpanzees, orang-utans, leopards, penguins, dogs, cats, meerkats, ponies, goats and elephants. We went on a whirlwind tour to catch the animals shows and saw the cats & dogs performance, the meerkats, seal and otters show, and the ponies shows.
I bet your favourite was feeding the elephants? For a small fee of $5, you were handed a basket of apples and bananas which you handed to the elephant, goodies which it slurped gleefully. I must say I was proud of you to have overcome your fear and enjoyed the feeding session. For the next few days, you could not stop talking about how you fed the elephants.
Hope you had a great day, Clarice, many happy returns, muacck!
